ADR Tool’s main function is to scale words and phrases to be in sync with the guide track.

This is done by manually changing lengths of words and sentences (and pauses) using a mouse. The ADR “Tool” updates the ADR “Server ”with its information and is used in the session with ADR “Control”. ADR Tool contains MTC syncing so it can be used in conjunction with any DAW to modify the lines.

Interface

The ADR Tool interface is a simple GUI with text selection and configuration, it locks to MTC when in lock mode (spacebar).

Hardware requirements

  • PC or Mac.
  • DAW that can generate MTC.
  • Connection to Database.

“When I’m directing English language dubbing we work real fast on really tight schedules. ADR Control together with ADR Tool has dramatically increased our efficiency  makes sure the session runs smoothly and I can keep my attention focused on where it needs to be – with the actors and the performance.”
